The funniest story from my quick jaunt to Nauvoo came a few days after I returned. I was talking to Alexa, and received the report:

Alexa asked: Is your daddy taking care of you while you are gone.

Olivia, somberly: Yes. But we have to be nice to daddy.

Alexa: You do? Why do you have to be nice to your daddy?

Olivia: Because he’s not a mommy. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.
