When I lived on the Indian Reservation, Amanda Sue and I went one day with a neighbor down to her little road side stand to sell Navajo jewelry and trinkets to touristy passers-by.

My life was altered and I will forever be jaded when my Navajo neighbor revealed to me that all the beautiful, handwoven bracelets and beaded necklaces were all made in Taiwan.
