Over mothers day weekend we decided to head south. The weatherman promised they’d break 90, and I was (am) so sick of the rain and snow, I wanted to get out.

Wyatt decided he wanted to come. “You’re going to be bored.” I warned him. “All I’m going to do is sit at the splash park for three days.” He promised he’d be okay.

After one day at the splash park he started suggesting more productive things we could do. But then he got sick (poor boy) and that mellowed him out (plus I went to the splash park while he slept).

We did do a few more things – went horse back riding, swam at Karen’s pool, played at the park and got some snowies/ice cream a few times. Good weekend.
