June was pretty much a lazy month . . .
So we decided we better get some projects done. We took the first two weeks of the month to get a long list of outstanding projects done.
-Paint and finish the master bathroom.
-Install the sink to the half bath in the hall
– Put in the threshold and transitions to the hardwood floor in the living room.
-Tile the transition to the basement door.
-Put in new window treatments throughout the upstairs.
-Finish the master bedroom
A couple years ago when Wyatt went to Europe I was this close to finishing my master bedroom as a surprise to him when he got home. I held of because of -ahem- money. But this time around I told Wyatt I wanted it to be a priority. So now I have this new, beautiful room. Hurray! We didn’t do too much to it. But I think what we did do (new window sills, board and batten, and fresh paint, plus mounting the tv and some decor), gives it such a new, polished feel. I’m loving the beachy modern feel with pops of bright color and high contrast.
Is that an artichoke to keep Wyatt humble?
It looks great!
