Sunday was the day for our nephew, Baby Aiden’s baby blessing.
First we had church. I went because I forgot to get a sub for gospel doctrine. You’d think I’d killed a cat or something with all the fuss it caused. Everyone scolded me, and everyone scolded Wyatt for me being at church so soon. Gee wiz!
After church we went to my sister’s ward just up the hill. It was funny because we were running so late. We put the car in park in her ward parking lot at 12:59 (I looked) and scrambled to get into the chapel . . . where we were the first ones there (of the blessing party anyway). Not even the Pugh’s were there. I just laughed.
Baby Aiden’s blessing was lovely. It was fun to see the family (Mom, Tom, and Danny & Eliza) for a little bit.
Afterward mom left. TEARS. That meant I was on my own with FIVE kids. But, after a week of doing a whole lotta nothing, I was ready to get back into the swing of things (or so I thought). I vowed to make the last full week of summer EPIC! (OR AT LEAST FUN).
