With the turning of the colors, we’ve been spending a lot of time in our mountains.
My mom was in town visiting Leslee and baby Oaklee on her 60th birthday. On the morning of her birthday I asked her “What do you want to do for your birthday?”
“Go to Switzerland” she told me.
“Well, I don’t have time for that today, but I can take you to our mountains, and it will be like being in the Swiss Alps.”
So we went on a drive up the canyon. We gathered leaves. Then we dropped over the pass and down into P.C. for some ice cream cones on Main Street.
A few days later Wyatt and I did the same thing for our 11 year anniversary. This time we stopped at the Silver Fork Lodge for dinner before dropping into Park City where we strolled Main Street, looking in art galleries and having more ice cream.
The mountains really are gorgeous this time of year.
