On Saturday we had Olivia’s 7th Birthday Party!
Our guests included:
Kate McGlincey
Emma Shaw
Kira Jackson
Cheyenne (last name??)
and
Sienna (last name??)
unfortunately, Bella and Kennedy were unable to make it.
Olivia built her whole party theme (A Halloween Party) around her determination to play this game, “Don’t Eat Pete.” I have never heard of this game, and did not know how to play it, but Olivia insisted that I make a game board, per her instructions, and she taught everyone how to play. They were so entertained by it.
In keeping with the “Halloween Theme” we painted pumpkins (safer, easier, cleaner? than carving).
I tried to talk Olivia into having a Princess party – I thought we could make tutus for each girl, and have each girl make her own jewelry and crown as an activity. I’m writing this down so I don’t forget for next year! But she decided to have a Halloween party because she really wanted to play “Don’t Eat Pete” – a game, which apparently requires monsters.
We also had a doughnut eating contest, which, btw, was so funny! Those girls really wanted to win!!
And we had your standard, go-to pinata. That was fun.
I think Olivia had a really great time. I hope her friends did as well! We love you Goosey Girl!
