This week was a pretty fun one!
I got to go with Nate on his field trip to “This is the Place Heritage Park” where we pet baby animals, learned about pioneer life, rode a train, and got caught in a terrible thunder storm! Some of the cute little second graders were full-on crying because they were so scared. I broke all sorts of teacher-rules (from Library) and started hugging all the babies!
Over the weekend Olivia went with her girlfriends to Claire’s cabin (house) in Moab. While she was gone, we went to St. George for Calvin’s mountain bike race.
We tried to make it a fun weekend for Wyatt, since it was his birthday. But we got a flat tire the morning of Calvin’s race (luckily we got him to his race before the flat – we noticed it as we dropped him off) so we missed his entire race. He did well though.
We went and climbed the red cliffs above St. George, and took the kids out to Gunlock falls. And we went to dinner at Red Robin. . It was all pretty fun!
