Olivia graduated from high school (sniff). There were so many exciting things to wrap up her senior year – awards ceremonies, seminary graduation, photo shoots with friends, parties to go to. We’re so excited for our baby goose. She’s off on her way!
In preparation for graduation we had to
- Get pedicures (obviously!),
- Go dress shopping — we found this dress at JCrew, it was the last one at any stores or online, but it was too big so we took it to the seamstress that altered all of Olivia’s dance dresses, and had her size it down. Doesn’t she look beautiful?!
- Order her graduation announcements
- Turn in all of her paperwork to get her chords and awards for high school.
We took lots of graduating photos with Olivia and her friends. Man oh man, did my heart break knowing these beautiful, amazing kids that have been around for years, would all be heading out in their own directions. I am so, so, SOOOOO GRATEFUL for good friends for my kids.
And then Graduation Day finally came! We went to lunch at Schmidt’s Pastry Cottage with Harry & Lois, then up to the University of Utah for graduation at the Huntsman Center. It was such a fun day.
Except when we left the car had a totally flat tire – so dad & Calvin had to change the tire real quick. Then once we got home Olivia was off to her graduation parties and activities. What a fun day!
