It’s a great day in the universe today. Yes, it’s March 28th, for emphasis: March 28th! What is the cosmic significance of that you might ask? Well in 2001 it marked the start of an exponential rise in fabulousness in life–literally.
Since toilet paper tacked to a ceiling, and rolled down across a living room floor is hard to come by on internet, a simple graph will have to do:
This graph represents the exponential growth of fabulousness in life, pinpointed to a starting date of March 28th, 2001. |
Wyatt and I first met on March 28th, 2001, at which point he and his friend Eks explained to my uninformed self that that day would prove to be a change day in our lives, and life would only get better from here! Of course the truth in this augur can easily by seen by clicking on the scrapbook 😀
To celebrate the happiness of such a day, Wyatt and I took a short trip down memory lane. We visited Campus Plaza, the apartment complex we were living in when we met. We peeked in some of the windows of the apartment–the carpet and linoleum in most looked to be updated, but the cinder block walls were still that dirty off-white yellow, and the wood paneling still gave it that nice “poor student” effect. We sat on “the bench,” the only place to sit after guys-out, and walked around the general vicinity wondering about the structural soundness of such old buildings–I know, we’re pretty romantic.
After that we got a Tommy’s Burger–a real treat back in the day, now just a tasty reminder of a simpler life. After that we made our way to Orem where we saw “Lucky Stiff” at Hale Center theater. It was such a fun evening.
Happy March 28th!
