With the kids back in school I have been *trying* to pretend like I have free time, and go hiking more. Hiking is one of those things I really do enjoy. I love nature, and being outside, I love the exercise, and I love seeing places that are off the beaten path (read: where I can drive to in my car :D)
One day Carrie and I hiked to “Blood Lake” – fun little lake at the top of Guardsman’s pass – only about 200 yards from the road, but down a steep ravine. It had a rope swing and we goofed off on that for a little while.
Another day Kellie and I hiked to Bell Canyon Reservoir. This easy little hike is so close and yet I’ve never been there in my life! So that was fun.
And of course, one day I took Kellie up to the suspension bridge. It’s a fun, quick hike to do with the dogs.
