Last year after Wyatt came home from the NAR conference, he said next year we should all go (Wyatt and I, and Ryan (Wyatt’s business partner) and his wife, Emily), and since it was in Florida, we should follow it up with a cruise. Well, the boys later decided not to go to the conference, but the wives decided we still wanted a cruise!
So off we went! A week cruising the Caribbean – Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Grand Turk. It was a great time!
Here are some pictures from the adventures.
Pulling out of port in Miami.
Looking out from a cool cave in the Bahamas
Jaws Beach -where Jaws was filmed. (Bahamas)
Jaws Beach part II (Bahamas)
Pulling into port at St. Thomas.
Wyatt snorkeling in St. Thomas.
At the top of the island looking down – St. Thomas.
Puerto Rico – looking out from the 500 year old fort – El Morro.
Knarley old tree in Puerto Rico. Emily tried to climb it.
Cool old church in Puerto Rico. We explored the old forts and the old parts of the city, San Juan.
Now, I don’t have pictures of Grand Turk because I didn’t take my camera with me that day. Emily took her phone so hopefully I’ll get some of her pictures soon! But it was our favorite day. We rented scooters and went all over the island. We stopped at a beautiful white sand beach, and we were the only ones there for as far as you could see. We collected Conch shells by the dozens. Then we went to the lighthouse at the peak of the island, and got a fish-fry on the side of the road. (More like a conch fry!). Then we went to the other side of the island and found another beach where we were the only ones, and collected more conch shells. It was such a fun and relaxing day. Pictures coming soon!
UPDATE:
Emily sent me her pictures.
Me and almost all of our conch shells we found on one of the beaches (Wyatt and Ryan threw a bunch back in!)
Me and Wyatt holding two conch shells, with more trailing behind us (those are the ones we found in the water and were throwing up onto the beach).
Standing out in the water – it wasn’t very deep.
