Olivia turned the iconic age of 17. I cannot.
I CANNOT
I cannot believe that she is 17 years old. Where has the time gone? What happened?
I love that sweet, young, precious, and amazing girl so. so. so. much. She’s turning into one amazing human.
For her birthday she (surprise) didn’t want to hang out with us. Her birthday was on a Friday, so she opted to instead go to the high school football game. She did invite some friends over after school for lunch, and asked that we have a couple pizzas ready. “Who all is coming?” I asked. “Just my regular friends” she said (about 15 kids to my count. “How many pizzas?” I asked. “mmm . . . just like four” So – at 12 o’clock the house and pizzas were ready for her friends to arrive. Well, about 70 kids later . . . I had to send Wyatt back to get more pizza. He was worried the kids would be gone by the time he got back, but no. All pizza was consumed happily by a herd of teenage boys and girls. I only took one picture as discreetly as possible. Here are just a few kids standing in the kitchen.
On Sunday we had a family birthday dinner, and the kids sat around and told us stories of all the naughty things they did as kids that we never knew about, and they figured the statute of limitations had passed on. Derrrr!
