It was the last day of summer, so for the day we decided to do one thing on my list that I never got around too: drive over Gaurdsman’s pass.
First we went up and hiked around Silver Lake. It was a great hike because it was cool and easy for the little kids to do themselves, and we could stop every 200 yards or so in the shade and sit while the kids played and explored.
Then we drove over the pass and dropped into Park City. Most of the pass is paved now, which is nice.
We got ice cream cones and came home.
I think it was a great Labor Day activity.
