Last week was the end of school for Olivia. She had her field day and final program. She had a great kindergarten year.
She made a lot of new friends, she had a great teacher whom she loved, and she learned and grew in all the most important ways. She is ready for first grade.
But I keep asking her if she won’t consider going back to preschool next year.
She just looks at me with a smile on her face – I know she wants to please me, but she really wants to go to first grade too.
If I had my way, we’d freeze frame right here for a while.
