The day after the 4th we decided to head up to the cabin one more time. This time the kids wanted to play in the swimming hole. It was 90 degrees outside, so we were happy to oblige!
Calvin was so excited to jump of the bridge again (and show off his toughness!) but once he got up there he was pretty nervous. After a few minutes of encouragement he finally took the leap!Olivia got really brave and jumped off the bridge for her first time (with the promise of a five dollar bill from Daddy!)All the kids had fun in the water. Only mom and dad stayed out because we didn’t bring suits.Calvin decided he had so much fun he even jumped off the bridge a second time!What a brave boy! You can do hard things Calvin!Auntie Carrie jumped off the bridge too, although the water was probably a little shallow for her.Olivia and I also practiced shooting with her slingshot. We tried to make it all the way across the river. (Yes, that’s a piece of wild grass in Olivia’s mouth. She thought it was apropos!)
