On Monday when the Sun is Hot -.
I cleaned the house and worked out and took a nap.
On Tuesday when it Hails & Snows-
I took Nate-O-Potato to lunch. Because a lunch date with my favorite 8 year old is like swimming in the most delicious yum ever.
McDonalds for a happy meal and vanilla shake
On Wednesday when the sky is blue –
I volunteered for BIZ Town with Andrew’s 5th grade class. “You have to have a name tag so the kids know who you are.” But the kids all know who I am from Library. So I made a name tag for fun.
And Roo was elected Mayor of Biz Town – a crown of 5th grade prestige. All the girls swooned. Especially me.
That night was the first showing of Everett’s play, Footloose. Everett killed it as a rugged, handsome, high school drop out, Chuck. It was such a delight to watch him perform.
On Thursday when it starts to Freeze –
I went to lunch with my two dear, dear sisters, and one very favorite four year old. Tacos and an afternoon of chatting.
Then I went to the temple. My heart was soaring from the beauty of the endowment. They made some changes to the presentation a few weeks ago, and it was the first time I’d seen them. Oh my heart.
That evening I saw another performance of Footloose, this time with Everett in the ensemble.
On Friday –
Everett’s cast of Footloose with Grandma and Granddad to come along for fun! Afterwards we went up to Freddys for ice cream and fries and big congratulations to a wonderful play and months of hard work on Everett’s part. Love, Love, Love that boy.
On Saturday –
A prom-postal (x2) for little miss Sunshine, and the hard place of having to let someone down. Poor, poor boys. Afterwards I took her dress shopping and she found such a FANTASTIC DRESS. Memorable, Personality. Beautiful.
That evening: closing night for Footloose (Ev in ensemble) – he did an amazing job. I am proud of this kid for working hard. He killed it!
In the mean time Calvin was in St. George for a race. He went down with the Tillman’s, and Kristin sent me these photos.
And Sunday –
I taught relief society. Huzzah.
