Wyatt saved a horse!
We went to get a pizza the other night, and there was a horse trailer pulled in at the gas station –
“Why does that lady have her trailer open” I wondered out loud. Then when we came around we could see there was a horse in it. “Why does that lady have her trailer open with a horse inside?” I asked.
I made Wyatt pull over so I could ask if she was okay. The woman told us the horse had jumped over and gotten high centered on the chest bar in the trailer. She had called the fire department and was waiting for help.
“Good luck” I wished as we drove over to Little Ceasars.
“You know, I have the grinder in the back of my truck” Wyatt said as he dropped me off. So he went over to see if he could help. He had to cut down the chest bar and some additional strapping, but eventually we were able to help the horse out. The horse was a little sore, but otherwise okay. Wyatt was pretty brave. I think it was a stressful situation for him.
